Recorded in Sheffield (almost sure it was at the Comsat Angels studio) this was the first of two albums on JCR, London's Jazz Cafe Records label. The cover photo was taken in performance at the original Newington Green Jazz Cafe. Features Jan Kopinski saxes, Steve Iliffe keys, Karl Bingham bass and original Pinski Zoo drummer Tim Bullock.
